Rummaging through my original heat transfer prints one day, I pondered how they could be liberated from their forgotton nook in my studio into something decorative and unusual. Gradually over time, these whimsical art dolls have emerged, each one a 'one-off' and looking for a new home.
Meet Woody, a colourful woodland creature.
Measuring approximately 14.5 cm sitting or 30 cm full height, Woody is bendable to be positioned wherever you would want to place them.
Every scrap of fabric has been printed, free-motion and hand embroidered, designed and stitched by me in my home studio.
Woody is a sturdy little creature, with everything stitched not glued but would appreciate not being left in bright sunlight all year round to avoid the fabrics from fading.
Woody is made out of mixed cloth and contains stuffing and wire parts. They are intended for decorative purposes only, and are not a toy.
